Newcastle has come a long way in it's first 10 years since incorporation. We have a decent parks system, a great golf club, and a developing downtown center. But do you still find yourself explaining to friends that Newcastle is "between Bellevue and Renton just off 405"? Well I do. When you mention that you live in Newcastle, I want people to say "Wow, really! You're so lucky."

Focus on the Community — I love Newcastle. Shortly after moving here I decided I wanted to be involved with the direction of the community and joined the Planning Commission. My goal was to participate in developing a unique community that my family would be proud to be a part of.

Working Professional — I have a passion for technology, not politics. My career has been spent pursuing my passion. As a Program Manager at Microsoft it is my job to run projects efficiently, on-time and on-budget. I hope to bring all of these skills to the City Council in a way that benefits everyone who lives, visits, or works within the city.

Family — Raising my family in a great neighborhood is my #1 priority. Safety, education and recreation opportunities are paramount to my vision of the city. As a council member my goal will be to support policies and budget that take these ideals into account to the greatest extent possible.
